Build Your OWN Custom Huckleberry Gift Basket. -- A Fun Online Shopping Experience!
Instructions: First, browse through, and select the products you would like in your basket. One tip, for secure shipping, add a smattering of products with softer packaging (e.g. pancake mixes, candies, coffee's, cocoa's, etc.) to provide a padding between the glass bottle and jar products. Normally no more than 2/3 of your products should be glass. For larger baskets, get as close to 50-50 (glass and non-glass) as you can.
After you choose the products you want IN your basket, scroll down below the products section, and CHOOSE the COLOR of shred (decorative padding material) you want in your basket. For holiday huckleberry baskets, Christmas (red & green), white, or purple, are most common -- but we offer nearly a dozen choices.
After you choose a shred color, go down through the basket choices. The numbers to the right of the basket name, indicate the number of average sized products that particular basket will normally accommodate. We consider an average product as something in the 5 to 10 ounce range. If you choose some larger products, stay to the lower end of the range. Small products such as the one-pot coffees, lip balms, bar soaps, the candy bar, and individual cordials can always be added to any baskets, so they do not really count toward the total unless you include several of them.
Note, adding the individual cordials, which come in a shiny purple foil, really provide a lot of color and accent to your basket selection.
Basket Prices Include MANY Things!
You might be confused by the pricing of the "empty" baskets at the bottom of the page. Each basket price is really a combination of several cost elements:
*The BASKET
*Shred (filling) needed to support and present products in a particular basket (some are deeper than others)
*Polyethylene shrink wrap material
*Shrink wrapping the basket
*Gift card
*Bow
*Fitted shipping box
*Padding, peanuts, and other packaging materials used to reduce risk of breakage!
(Just a reminder that the basket price, does not include our standard, flat-rate, shipping charges, which are actually very reasonable... the cost to ship a basket, due to the extra size, and padding needed, is significantly more than the cost of shipping just the individual products. But our flat rate shipping applies, regardless!)
